"We will free Batumi from thieves who have come to power today,"- the statement was made by the Labor Party mayoral candidate for Batumi in a live interview of the program "Choice", Jelal Kikava.

He talked about the story published in "Postscriptum", where he spoke about the possible transportation of 20 000 tons of fuel oil by Russian vessel from the Batumi Terminal.

Jelal Kikava noted that he had checked this information.

"The Prime Minister`s team was involved in this. This ship was not declared, it was not the agent, so the customs could not not examine it, so the thieves transported the sto;en fuel oil and earned 8 million dollars, from which was 5 million stayed in Georgia and 3 million ... We haven`t had such a government, such a corruption since Shevardnadze`s time, "-said Jelal Kikava.
