Georgia`s territorial integrity - world leaders talk about Russian aggression at UN General Assembly

At the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, Georgia was one of the key issues. Heads of the member states talked about the problems facing the country`s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Turkish president expressed support for Georgia`s territorial integrity. Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that territorial integrity of Georgia and Azerbaijan is a decisive factor for regional stability in the South Caucasus.

President of Poland also spoke about the violation of Georgia`s sovereignty and territorial integrity. According to Andrzej Duda, for almost 10 years, principles of respect for the fundamental, boundaries of the borders and respect for sovereignty
of the United Nations Charter are violated by in Georgia.

President of Estonia also talked about the occupied territories of Georgia. The President of Lithuania dedicated the key part of the speech to Russia`s criticism. The Russian delegation left the hall during the report of Dalia Grybauskaite.
