A document developed by the Administration of the President of Georgia and opposition parties concerning the constitutional amendments will be sent to the Venice Commission.
According to the presidential administration, the agreement reached by the opposition and the president regarding the constitutional reform has already been sent to the "Georgian Dream".
The political spectrum names five points on reforming the main law - including the cancellation of the majoritarian system, the rule of direct presidential elections, the preservation of the Security Council and creation of election blocs and the decrease of the threshold.
"We want to give everyone a chance once again in this situation. First of all, to Georgia, the ruling power and ourselves, to get a document based on consent and not a split.
"Today there is deficit for political will and if such will exist, there are ways to overcome this dilemma, as for veto, it is early to speak about the veto," - said Pikria Chikhradze.
