Majoritarian candidate of Samgori district of "Patriots` Alliance" has been detained. Bezhan Gunava was detained by law enforcers on the basis of resistance and minor hooliganism.

The noise and confrontation followed the attemt by the protesters to place a banner on the Tbilisi parliament which was not allowed by the police , but eventually the party members managed to place the banner.

"It"s a pity that excesses accompanied it. But the decision here is important. I addressed the Minister of Internal Affairs, address the representatives of the "Georgian Dream" not to create obstacles for placing this banner. The Constitution grants Georgian citizens the right to publish their demands, " - said Irma Inashvili.

"Alliance of Patriots" is holding a protes against constitutional amendments, fpr solving social problems and launching negotiations with Russia. Several activists of the party are on hunger strike for the fourth day .
