Georgian politicians assess the announcements of world leaders, made on the day of opening the UN General Assembly. The ruling team says that the World leaders" clear support for Georgia"s sovereignty is very important for the country.

"There will be no compromise at the expense of Georgia"s national interests. We will continue pragmatic foreign policy, we will continue to de-occupation. The international support is the most important tool t for achieving our territorial integrity, "Archil Talakvadze said.

According to the leaders of |United National Movement it is a marit of the US that leaders openly speak about problems of Georgia at the UN General Assembly.

"Russia should know that the issue of Georgia remains very active in the Western agenda. I think this is the result of the visit of the US Vice President, "Salome Samadashvili said.

Members of "European Georgia" draw attention to the importance of further engagement of Georgia on the international arena.

"TIt is welcome and great that the process continues, However the bad thing is that leaders of the leading Western European Countries do not mention Georgia ,, as they do in regard to Ukraine ," Sergi Kapanadze said.
