The strongest mechanism for controlling law enforcement agencies is not functioning in Georgia. The trust team has not gathered this year, and according to the law, it must do it 2 times to control the defense and the MIA procurements and secret investigative actions.

One of the leaders of "European Georgia", Irakli Abesadze, who represents opposition in the trust group, says that the members of the group have not been aware for a year of what investigative activities are carried out by the State Security Service. The reason is that the group is not yet fully staffed.

In the majority, they think that this issue is not a problem and the group will be staffed after Irakli Sesiashvili`s return to Georgia.
