Tea Tsulukiani criticizes Strasbourg Court for Kuparadze`s case

Georgian Justice Minister criticizes Strasbourg Court. Tea Tsulukiani says that the European Court of Human Rights has examined Gvantsa Kuparadze`s case inappropriately.

According to the minister, the Strasbourg Court has justified the government, which does not cause for her either moral or professional satisfaction.

"The decision made by the Strasbourg Court on Gvantsa Kuparadze`s case, which virtually justified the government does not cause us any professional and moral happiness, for the simple reason that this decision has not actually entered into the depths. I have certainly seen the decisions of the Court of Strasbourg, which examines the details of the prisoner`s case, especially the minor and especiallly a girl
Let`s wait until the applicant d takes a decision, " -Tea Tsulukiani said.

The Strasbourg Court did not find any breach of any of the European Convention on Kuparadze`s case. The plaintiff accused the state of breaching the right to fair trial and inhuman treatment in the prison.

Gvantsa Kuparadze left the penitentiary establishment in 2011 and now works at the Ministry of Justice.
