Public Defender gave testimony on Goga Oniani`s case. Ucha Nanuashvili informed the court that the withness of prosecution addressed the Public Defender`s Office and accused the Prosecutor`s Office of putting pressure on him.

"The conversation is about the information provided by the prosecution`s witness. I thought that this information could have been substantial for the judge. It would have been interesting, because he provided us with much more different information from what he was saying and said that he gave the testimony against Oniani as a result of pressure, "- Ucha Nanuashvili said.

The trial was closed. Investigation is charging Oniani with abuse of official authority while working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, falsification of evidence on a particularly grave crime and deliberate illegal detention.
