Prosecutor`s Office will try to prove innocence of persons convicted for attempting state coup in court

The Chief Prosecutor`s Office will try to prove the innocence of 14 convicted persons for attempting a state coup. Shota"dze`s office addresses the second instance with the demand with the demand of justification of the former Minister of Security, wanted by the Red Notices.

The Prosecutor`s Office today put under question the weapons, ammunition siezed in house of one of the the detaineem as well as testimonies of the witnesses, telephone records.. However, the details of investigative actions carried out by the Prosecutor`s Office and the basis on which the agency concluded that the convicted persons are innocent remain unknown.

According to the opposition, the Prosecutor`s Office`s decision on revising case of Igor Giorgadze`s associates confirms that the "Georgian Dream" acts in the interests of Russia.

One more important detail - the Prosecutor`s Office does not exclude that the case of the former senior police officials will be raised.
