The Parliament of Georgia has released a special statement regarding the third hearing of the constitutional amendments. The statement says that the Parliament is authorized to consider the package of constitutional amendments in the third hearing and vote for it.

The hearing of the bill is scheduled for September 26, 14:00.

"According to the Constitution of Georgia and the Regulation of the Parliament of Georgia, the Parliament of Georgia is authorized to consider and vote for constitutional amendments in the third hearing.

"The third hearing of the draft law is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 14:00, at the extraordinary plenary sitting of the Parliament of Georgia.

"The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia addressed the President of Georgia with the corresponding written request through the Electronic Case Management System at 2 o"clock today to call for an extraordinary meeting of the Parliament of Georgia," the statement reads.
