The Minister of Foreign Affairs had to respond to the opposition"s critical questions today, at the Diaspora Issues Committee. The opposition asked him about the diplomatic note that the Georgian government has sent to Russia asking for help to extinguish the fire.

The opponents reminded to Janelidze that if he will not answer MPs" questions and will violate the regulations of the parliament, he will have to answer these questions at court.

"The Minister of Foreign Affairs does not answer any serious questions, moreover, the minister violates the law when avoid responding to questions,"- said Salome Samadashvili, the UNM member.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs responded to the statements and accusations of the opposition after the committee meeting.

"We act openly. I would like to advice the opposition to stay away from the past, to think about the future, to concentrate on the problems that worry the society ," said Mikheil Janelidze.
