Parliament approves constitution

Georgian Parliament has adopted the constitution. 117 MPs have supported the constitutional amendments, two MPs have voted against.

The MPs have gathered at the extraordinary session to approve draft amendments to the Constitution of Georgia with the third reading.

Members of United National Movement and European Georgia have left the session in a protest. According to their assessment, "Georgian Dream" has adopted the one-party constitution.
