The parliamentary opposition believes that the president should veto the draft law on the constitution. According to their assessment, the governing team has received a one-party document that will damage the country"s democratic development.
"This is the constitution of one party, one family, one clan, which means that democracy in Georgia is practically canceled. This constitution is it," states Zaza Bibilashvili, a member of United National Movement.
"We do not believe that this is a normal event when the ruling party makes decisions alone and does not share the opinions of the opposition,"- States Gigi Tsereteli, the member of European Georgia.
"Alliance of Patriots" believes that the president will use the veto and it will be the right decision. Ada Marshania thinks that the constitution is inadequate.
