"Our position in regard to the draft constitution, adopted by Georgian Dream has not changed. It may actually create a threat to the country"s security, defense capabilities, due to the lack of mechanisms that are not in the Constitution," - A Deputy Secretary of the Security Council - Vano Machavariani has made an announcement. According to him, there are no mechanisms in the new edition of the constitution which would provide the security.

The Deputy Secretary of the Security Council also has focused on issues that will be discussed at the session Council today.

According to him, one of the main topics discussed will be military exercises conducted by Russia in the occupied territories of Georgia.

The Security Council of Georgia meets with the invitation of the President today. Among the rapporteurs will be the Chief of General Staff, the Defense Minister and the Head of State Security Service. At the meeting the Prime Minister of Georgia is also expected, according to the preliminary information, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia will also attend the meeting.
