A sitting of the Security Council convened by the president is underway. Among the discussed issues will be the military exercises conducted by Russia in the occupied territories.

The Security Council will discuss five issues, including the situation in the occupied territories. The Council is now fully composed. The Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Parliament are attending the sitting as well.
The Defense and Interior Ministers, as well as Head of State Security Service, are attending the meeting.

Vakhtang Gomelauri is a rapporteur. He will present the report on the exercises carried out by Russia.

The President will also hear a report on several topics. Including the increase of the Armed Forces and the steps taken in direction of the NATO .
