Security Council session is over.Convened at the invitation of the President, the Security Council session lasted for more than three hours and was ddicated to the discussion of five issues. The most important issue was Russia`s exercises on occupied territories. The speaker was Vakhtang Gomelauri, the head of the State Security Service.

Giorgi Margvelashvili made a comment after the meeting and noted that on the issues included in the agenda were discussed at the meeting

According to the President, the Security Council did not discuss the issues related to the constitution. According to the new Constitution, the National Security Council will be abolished.

The President also said that the meeting was constructive.

"We have reviewed the situation in the occupied regions and the exercises that are taking place in the occupied territories and the difficulties that our citizens face in the occupied regions," Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
