Tbilisi City Coucil Independent MP and Tbilisi Mayoral Candidate, Aleko Elisashvili will leave the City Council today. The reason for Elisashvili`s step is the decisiont taken by the Council hree days ago, according to which, Bidzina Ivanishvili`s company was handed over another two land plots in Tbilisi.

Elisashvili calls on opposition colleagues to leave Tbilisi City Coucil. According to the candidate, if the opposition leaves the council, "Georgian Dream" party only wouldbe responsible for the decision to grant to Bidzina Ivanishvili`s company the spots of land on Tabori mountain and Pushkin Square .

"None of the conscientious deputies have a moral right to remain in the building. I understand that three weeks are left and it is a little bit unserious, but it happened exactly three weeks before elections, " - Elisashvili says.
