Newly appointed head of the Audit Office has dismissed Nino Lomjaria. The former head of the "Fair Elections" was in charge of the office for the last three months. Irakli Mekvabishvili has criticised her qualification and professionalism. The new chief of the Audit Service has left only ex-manager of the Cartu Bank and former Minister of Infrastructure Nodar Javakhishvili out of three of his deputies.
According to the "Courier" before carrying out the staff changes, the Chief Auditor held a meeting in the Ministery of Justice. Irakli Mekvabishvili made a decision regarding the changes in the staff following the meeting with Tea Tsulukiani.
