Confrontation near Uplistsikhe -Three individuals detained

The noise and confrontation on the road to Uplistsikhe. Population of the village Kvakhvrel held a protest rally today. The locals demand to supply the village with drinking water and natural gas.

They blocked the road and the tourists to waiting for several hours to visit the museum.

Law enforcers tried to open the road, which resulted a physical confrontation between the police and the population.

Three participants of the demonstration were detained, including Davit Aduashvili, candidate for the majoritarian candidate of Georgian Dream.
