The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has attended an event, organized by the Canadian Embassy in Georgia.

The event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Canada and the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Canadian Confederation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke about friendly and partner relations between Georgia and Canada and stressed the importance of close cooperation between the two countries in defense and security.
"Canada has repeatedly confirmed its unwavering support for Georgia"s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Canadian involvement in the development of Georgia"s young democracy is very important. "Said Mikheil Janelidze.
