Land transferred to Ivanishvili for one lari - opposition announces noisy session of City Council

The government of Tbilisi supported the transfer of 1900 sq.m of land to Bidzina Ivanishvili on the Freedom Square for one GEL. In addition to the Pushkin Square, the mayor agreed that the 5000 sq.m. area of the Tabor Mountain would be given to the former Prime Minister.

The mayor of the capital, Davit Narmania, does not see any problem in this.

The Tbilisi City Council should make a final decision on the transfer of territories for Ivanishvili`s company at an unprecedented low price. The opposition announces that the session will be noisy.

The opposition is going to use all the mechanisms so that the majority can not make decisions at the session. When the Council session will be held is unknown yet.
