Members of the EU Political and Security Committee visited Georgia. Representatives of 28 countries held the first meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Ambassadors talked about the importance of close cooperation between Georgia and the EU.
Ongoing reforms were positively assessed.
Members of the delegation also reiterated their position regarding violation of Georgia`s sovereignty and territorial integrity by Russia.
"We once again highlight the deepest partnership between Georgia and the EU. The EU views Georgia as the main partner and we have not only the close association and economic integration process, but the close cooperation in the security sphere, "said Minister Janelidze.
