European Georgia accuses MIA of covering up the offense. The statement disseminated by the agencyis considered misinformation in the party and it declares mistrus to the Ministry. It is about threats against the Telavi majoritarian candidate of "European Georgia" during which according to the MIA, a toy gun was used.
According to the statement, investigation into the incident that occurred at the office of the party started with the threat of violence, but the identity of the person was established, and in personal search a toy gun was seized.
Law enforcers questioned Nodar Ezhishvili as well. According to the candidate, the threat was political. The party believes that the government is trying to intimidate the opposition in the pre-election period.
