The Parliament plans to convene an extraordinary session on October 13 to discuss the motivated remarks of the President on the new constitution. Prior to that, the "Georgian Dream" addressed the president to mark the meeting. According to the regulations, the MPs must either share the President`s remarks or overcome the veto.

Probably, the veto will be overcome, after which the legislators will register the initiative on new constitutional amendments after the elections. It will take into account cancellation of bonuses and maintaining election blocks.

"We will probably overcome this veto. We are going to register new constitutional amendments and we will start in the shortest time these procedures, "- Tamar Khulordava said.

The ruling team calls on the president"s decision to veto the constitution"s new project, a "political intrigue".
