Lado Chanturia was elected as a Judge to the European Court of Justice in Strasbourg.

Today, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has voted for three candidates for the Strasbourg Court Judge nominated from Georgia.

Judge Lado Chanturia received the highest assessment as a result of voting. According to the assessment, the second place was taken by Judge Lali Papiashvili. The lowest assessment was received by Otar Sichinava.

Last week, the list was discussed at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, none of the candidates have failed, but the recommendation was given to Lado Chanturia.
