Parliament starts today to discuss the motivated remarks of the President. Legal Issues Committee will discussthe imposed veto
It is well known that majority does not share Giorgi Margvelashvili`s position and the remarks will likely be put on voting.
The ruling team is preparing for overcoming veto and plans to launch a new draft law on constitutional amendments.
"The committee will get the relevant conclusion, we will discuss the President`s veto on 13 th plenary session. Our position was known to the President from the beginning. The President knew that we could not support the constitutional draft of this kind, "- said Giorgi Kakhiani.
"Georgian Dream" is going to independently solve the issue of bonuses and blocs in accordance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission. The parliamentary minorityis still calling on the ruling party to review their position.
"We, as well as the President,had a lot of remarks about the constitution, but only those remarks were reflected in the address of the President, which left the hope that the ruling government would come to mind and would not accept such a constitution that would hinder the democratic development of the country," - said the UNM Member, Roman Gotsiridze.
The President`s motivated remarks will be discussed at the extraordinary plenary session tomorrow. Members of the "European Georgia" say that they will support president`s motivated remarks.
