Salome Samadashvili, a member of the National Movement filed suit at the Gender Equality Council of Parliament against a member of the Georgian Dream, Giorgi Volski for using humilating address.

According to the member of the opposition, deputy chairperson of the legislative body does not know the principles of gender equality.

The Gender Equality Council will consider the complaint and make a decision on the form of response.

Several days ago, the 2018 budget was debated in the parliament . The confrontation started when the deputy chairperson aadressed of thedeputy head of the parliamentary faction "National Movement". Giorgi Volsky addressed Salome Samadashvilias "Girl", after which the opposition member protested at the meeting of the Defense Committee.
