Parliament will complete the budget committee discussions today. The main financial document is not supported by the opposition. According to the MPs, the budget is tailored to the "Georgian Dream" interests.
"This is a budget where pensions are not growing where millions of lari are still being spent on bonuses and supplements and bureaucratic unnecessary costs," - said Tinatin Bokuchava, a member of the National Movement.
The opposition team asks thegoverment to reduce bureaucratic expenditures and increase pensions.
The remarks of the parliamentary majority should become known today. The session will be held in legal and financial-budget committees, after which the first version of the document will be returned to the government.
Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairperson of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Parliament, says that the costs of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Health and Education are increasing.
The executive government will have time to make amendments until November 14, and the vote on the budget should be held in December at the plenary session.
