On October 21, local elections will be observed by international observation missions. Authoritative organizations - "NDI", "IRI" and "OSCE" will observe the election process in Tbilisi and Georgia`s regions.

International organizations will announce their assessment on Sunday after the end of the election process.

"On the day of elections, observers of the National Democratic Institute will work in Tbilisi and across the country for the whole day to monitor the opening of polling stations, the voting process and closing of the polling stations. Counting of ballot papers will be attended. On the basis of their observations, we will have a chance to present a preliminary report on the election process, but concrete recommendations, may be ready within a few weeks, "- said Laura Thornton, director of the NDI`s Georgian office.
