The police came to the polling station # 24 late at night. The reason for calling the law enforcers in Tbilisi was the request of the chairman of the commission regarding the expulsion of one of the observers, but according to the police, they did not need to interfere and the representative of the NGO "Society of Parliament of Georgia" left the polling station.
"The chairperson of the commission called us to hel caary out the decision of the commission on the expulsion of one of the observers who would not leave the building",- said Samson Bochorishvili, a patrol police officer.
Maka Kvitaishvili linked the incident to her sister"s political activity. The observer is the sister of Nino Kvitaishvili, one of the majoritarian candidates of the United National Movement in Saburtalo district.
"When I asked for explanation why I was dismissed, the decree says that I had a psychological impact on the members of the commission," - Maka Kvitaishvili said.
