The president of the National Bank will make the explanations regarding the devaluation of GEL exchange rate today. According to preliminary information, Koba Gvenetadze will answer the questions after the meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee.

Members of the ruling team requested explanations from the National Bank yesterday.

The opposition explains a sharp impairment of the currency by the wrong policy of the government.

According to official data, the price of US dollar is 2, 52 GEL.
