Mechiauri is Mayor of Tianeti - court annuled DEC decision

The Mtskheta District Court has annuled Tianeti DEC resolution. According to the judge`s decision, run off elections will not be held at Tianeti polling station No 20.

According to the decision of Mtskheta District Court, Tamaz Machiauri was declared the winner of Mayoral election in Tianeti.

The Central Election Commission has the right to appeal the decision of Mtskheta District Court.

Tianeti mayoral candidate Tamaz Mchedia requested to annul the resolution, based on which Tianeti district commission counted blank ballot papers.
