The State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration explains the new electronic system of the Schengen zone.

According to Viktor Dolidze, the new regulation will not create a problem for the citizens of Georgia and its implementation is not expected until 2020.

"This is an opportunity for authorization and information that security measures in the EU are better protected. If it is started, it will be focused in filling in in the preliminary data, it will be a long-term procedure that will continue till 2020. Once again, I do not want to create an idea in the society that Georgia will have a problem with regard to visa-free travel, "- Viktor Dolidze said.

The European Parliament has adopted a new regulation for non-EU citizens. Antonio Tianan explained that restriction of freedom of movement is for safety purposes.
