Before appealing to the Court of Appeals the lawyers have visited Giorgi Mamaladze in the prison. The attorneys have discussed legal issues and got interested in the health condition of the convict.
Giorgi Pantsulaia, the lawyer notes that Father Giorgi Mamaladze has suspended a hunger strike at this stage, though he has health problems. According to the lawyers, he was diagnosed with diabetes.

Lawyers were also interested in whether the convicts" rights are violated in the penitentiary establishment.
