The parliamentary majority responds to the parliamentary opposition"s initiative to summon the Interior Minister to the legislative body. The opposition demands answers on the young man"s death in Tbilisi.
The opposition believes that the tragedy, which took place in Nutsubidze"s fourth district two days ago is the result of a systemic problem. The ruling team excludes the excess of force from the patrol police and assesses the incident as an accident.
Members of the ruling party say that at this stage there is no need to summon Giorgi Mghebrishvili .
Giorgi Volski, the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia says that the investigation is in progress and administrative measures have already been taken against law enforcers.
Davit Matikashvili, the deputy chairperson of the faction "Georgian Dream" shares the opinion of his teammates.
"At this stage, there is no need to summon the Minister and ask questions, because this questions should be responded not by him but by the parliament,"- said Davit Matikashvili
