The President of Georgia expresses support to Guram Kashia. Giorgi Margvelashvili has published the statement on his facebook official page saying that the campaign against Kashia is unacceptable to him.

"Everyone has freedom of expression, we should respect human rights and freedoms, I welcome the unanimous support of the sports community towards Guram Kashia," - the statement reads.

The captain of "Vitesse" and the defender of the Georgian national team has been criticized for participating in the campaign supporting LGBT people.
