Terror act in New York - Donald Trump calles attacker mentally ill

The United States president immediately made a statement about the terrorist attack in New York.

Donald Trump called the attacker "mentally ill" in the Twitter network and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and said that it is unacceptable to return a terrorist organization to the country.

Former US President Barack Obama also expressed sorrow over the terrorist attack. The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed compassion to the American people and UN host city .

"We are standing next to the United States in the fight against terrorism," writes NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Twitter.

The support of the European countries was expressed to the President of the United States of America, by Donald Tusk and the Foreign Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson.
