The rule of financing the parties changes - Gia Zhorzholiani, the MP has addressed Parliament with a legislative initiative. According to him, the MPs elected by the majoritarian system who will create their own faction in the parliament, will be financed from the budget.

The new amendments also envisage that the MP is not required to be elected by majoritarian system. The MPs can receive a funding even if the faction was created in Parliament.

According to Simon Nozadze, chairperson of the parliamentary faction "Georgian Dream - Industrialists", the fractions of the parliamentary majority will be financed according to the initiative.
