Part of political parties require more funding from the budget. The legislative initiative whose authors are from the majority, but not the members of the "Georgian Dream" Simon Nozadze and Gia Zhorzholiani, envisages change of party funding.

According to the project, the party, from which even one of majoritarian MPs will create a faction in the parliament, will receive funding from the budget. That is, it is not necessary to cross the 3% threshold to get the budget money, it is enough to have one single mandate MP and a fraction in the parliament to receive money from the state.
