A number of international passengers arriving in Georgia in January-October exceeded 6,4 million, which is 18% more than in the previous year. The number of those foreign tourists, who have spent more than 24 hours in Georgia has increased by 28%.

Most of the visitors are from neighbouring countries.

"The Unprecedented growth continues in the tourism sector and this year 6 million 430 thousand international travellers have visited our country,"- says Giorgi Chogovadze, Head of Georgian Tourism Administration.
