About two weeks ago, the founder of the Women`s Movement filed 1000 signatures in the legislative body. Their demand is to change the legislation and make sexual harassment against women punishable.
"First of all, we should discuss whether this petition is reasonable at all. Of course, this is a matter of majority, but I think that due to the current challenges, this issue should be discussed, "- said Sophio Kiladze, chairwoman of the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament.
The Parliamentary Opposition also speaks about the necessity of regulations.
