Megis Kardava"s Ukrainian lawyer claims that his client"s life is in danger. Malkhaz Velijanashvili, a Georgian defender of Kardava, says that the detainee could not attend the trial because he is beaten. The lawyer links the fact to
criminals.

"The trial on extradition detention in connection with Megis Kardava has been held at the Court of Appeals, where he has been sentenced to 40 days imprisonment. Megis Kardava"s lawyer stated that he is beaten. He has injuries in the area of eyes and nose and therefore has not attended the trial,"- Malkhaz Velijanashvili says.
