Giorgi Margvelashvili and Andrzej Duda agree on strengthening cooperation in support of Georgia`s Euro-Atlantic integration

The Presidents of Georgia and Poland agreed on strengthening cooperation in support of Georgia`s European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Negotiations were held at the presidential palace in Warsaw. Giorgi Margvelashvili thanked Andrzej Duda for supporting vital issues for Georgia.

This is the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia, the policy of non-recognition of the occupied regions, the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of the country.

According to Giorgi Margvelashvili, Poland is a strong partner of Georgia, that knows the difficulties of protecting Georgia"` freedom and statehood. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the issue of Georgia on the international agenda and to continue consant pressure on Russia.

According to Pikria Chikhradze, the adviser to the President of Georgia, the Polish side was interested in details about the kidnapping by the occupants and the restriction of movement of the local population.
