"Green Movement" is against the possible abolishment of the Ministry of Environment Protection. According to the former Minister of Environmental Protection, it is inadmissible to abolish the Office on the background of the obligations taken under the Association Agreement with the European Union.

"It is unclear at all, who will implement the environmental reforms that are planned, who will implement the obligations under the Association Agreement with Europe," said Nino Chkhobadze, co-chairman of "Greens Movement of Georgia - Friends of the Earth".
