Ministries of Energy and Economy unite - Dimitri Kumsishvili to head the Agency

Details about optimization of government have been announced. The special briefing has been held at the government administration.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, a component of the Natural Resources Management of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources joins the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. Dimitri Kumsishvili, the current Minister of Finance will head the ministry.

Dimitri Kumsishvili was appointed as Finance Minister on 27.11.2016. Prior to that, he was the Minister of Economy. Kumsishvili has replaced Nodar Khaduri on the position.
