Georgia has signed an agreement on "Lapis Lazuli" transit corridor along with four countries.

The document envisages development of transport relations between Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.

It is about facilitating the uninterrupted movement of cargoes and passengers, as well as harmonization of procedures related to transit movement.

Within the visit to Ashgabat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs took part in an international conference on economic development and met with Turkmenistan counterpart.
