Amendments to the Law on Public Broadcasting are going through the first hearing in the Parliament today. The project is not supported by a part of the parliamentary majority.

The MPs are demanding the removal from the document of the record according to which the broadcaster has a right to finance start ups

The opposition and the ruling team have common position regarding the commercial advertisements on public broadcaster as well.

The legislators think that the public broadcaster should not sell advertising time.
