The general public discussion of the amendment to be made in the Constitution is underway at the parliament building in Kutaisi. The meeting, which is chaired by the Chairman of the Parliament, is attended by invited guests, including teachers, students, civil society and media representatives of educational institutions operating in western Georgia.

"We set a very ambitious goal to fundamentally change the Constitution of Georgia and this goal was implemented by the Parliament of Georgia. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to discuss the constitutional amendments in depth. Unfortunately, this process has been overly politicized and can be politically incorrect. We have a great desire to discuss these issues in academic form and that is best done with communication of the representatives of the academic field, "- said Kobakhidze
