Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Tbilisi starts official meetings today. The first meeting will begin in the legislative body within one hour.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament Tamar Chugoshvili will host the members of the Assembly Monitoring Committee. Later, the meeting will be held with representatives of the "Georgian Dream".
Today, audiences are scheduled to meet with the President, Justice and Reconciliation Ministers and State Minister of Civil Equality.
The main topics of discussion are steps taken by Georgia in terms of democracy development.
"They will meet representatives of various agencies, as well as representatives of opposition and non-governmental organizations, which will be followed by a new report on the democratic process in our country and this visit serves to prepare this report," said Vice Speaker Tamar Chugoshvili.
