Before opening of the fifth Eastern Partnership summit, the Prime Minister of Georgia met with the Ukrainian President. The sides discussed the Eastern Partnership summit, the bilateral cooperation and the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of the two countries.

The focus was on the challenges in the region and on the developments in the occupied territories.

The leaders of the two countries have confirmed their mutual support for Georgia`s and Ukraine`s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
